Yesterday being the 13th of July 2024, witnessed the people of Aladinma Ward 2 coming together at the residence of the ward Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC Hon. Ajoku Chinedu, for a meeting that will be remembered for a long time.
The atmosphere was electric, with members buzzing with excitement and anticipation.
As directed by the Party, the floor was opened for members to declare their intention to run for office in the forthcoming LGA elections. But in a surprising twist, Mr. Gideon Uzodinma, who had earlier expressed interest in the councillorship position, withdrew his aspiration and threw his weight behind Mr. Kelechi Nnoaham (Bountykay)!
The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as Mr. Kelechi Nnoaham, with his trademark humility and grace, accepted the endorsement. He thanked Mr. Uzodinma for his support and pledged to work tirelessly for the ward’s development.
But that was not all – Mr. Kelechi Nnoaham also announced his support for the party members, pledging to provide assistance and resources to ensure the ward’s growth and development. He reiterated his commitment to education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, and vowed to engage with the community to ensure that their needs are met.
In a further show of unity, Deacon Paul Ajunwa (Ishiopi) was collectively given the mantle to lead Mr. Kelechi’s campaign team as the Director-General (D.G.), an honor he accepted with gratitude. As one of the top leaders in the ward, he vowed to stir the campaign to success, leveraging his vast experience and network to ensure victory for Mr. Kelechi and the party.
As it stands today, Mr. Nnoaham Kelechi (Bountykay) stands as the sole aspirant for Aladinma Ward’s councillorship election in the 2024 LGA elections. The party members have spoken, and their choice is clear.
