All roads will lead to Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, as the remains of Late Pa. Okorikpa Joshua Obasi, a teacher, community and religious leader, will be committed to Mother Earth on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The late Pa. Okorikpa transited to glory on May 31, 2024.
According to a statement from the family, made available by his son, Chibuzom, the Christian wake-keep service will hold on Thursday August 22, while the burial service and interment will hold on Friday 23, August in Umuokparanyanwu Oburo, Umunneato Ishi Ogwa, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
Going by the programme of events, the venue of the wake-keep is at his residence, Oburo Umuokparanyanwu.
The late Pa. J.O. Okorikpa was aged 90 and a devout Christian faithful in his lifetime. He was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints.
Late Pa. Okorikpa was married and built a healthy family and christian home. He was blessed with children among whom is the former Chief press secretary in Mbaitoli Local Government Council, Former Chief correspondent In Imo State House of Assembly, immediate Past chairman of National Association of Mbaitoli Journalists, Bureau Chief and Senior News Correspondent, 247ureports.
