…from my pavement of observation, I have decided never to allow crazy characters bring Mbieri and her number one leader to the mud.

We have recently read in different groups of an article attempting to discredit Prof. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike (CONA) , the Acting President General of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union, by an anonymous source representing a non-existent group called “Concerned Umu Mbieri Nwaotuoke.” This smear campaign smells everything about a good for nothing boy who was cajoled into running for chairmanship of Mbaitoli LG . A known character of mischief . This unstable personality handled the pen of Obazu Town Union for a while and within the period caused a lot of damages within the community.

The unfortunate thing is that he is being sponsored 100% by those who want to milk and run Mbaitoli down.

Since the start of the local government elections, numerous pseudo accounts have been used for such deceptive activities, and APC Mbaitoli is no exception.

Prof. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike remains the undisputed Acting President General of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union. Those attempting to tarnish his reputation must respect this fact.

We however observed that those who are afraid of facing Umu Mbieri to prove their eligibility for the LG Election contest and having a harmonious front for the contest are the ones making this mischief and calling a honorable and notable personality like Prof Cona unprintable names, just to discredit him.

Mbieri people are not known to discredit their own, so I therefore warn those behind this to put a stop now or I swim in this ocean of shame with them.

I am not a politician and have no interest whatsoever, but I will have no reservations in matching these elements henceforth.

Regarding Prof. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike’s political affiliations, he has consistently maintained a non-partisan stance. As a prominent brand consultant, his office is opened for various political parties, including APC, but this should not be misconstrued as partisan bias. His role in the APC has been purely to address the marginalization of APC members from Mbieri and to foster unity among aspirants within.

We challenge those behind these unfounded claims to present concrete evidence if they allege that Prof. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike is a member of the Labour Party or that he campaigned against the Governor. Until then, we advise them to either substantiate their allegations or cease their unfounded attacks.
