The leadership of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union led by Prof. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike, congratulates His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma, CON, on his victory at the Supreme Court, in a resounding victory for democracy, the Supreme Court has upheld the governorship election results of Imo State held in November 11, 2023 off-circle, affirming the will of the people. This historic decision reinforces the principles of democratic governance, electoral integrity, and the rule of law.
The apex court’s ruling on Friday 23rd of August 2024, validated the election outcome, dismisses frivolous petitions, upholds the electoral commission’s integrity and reinforces democratic institutions.
This judgement which was greeted with wild spread jubilation across the state, as celebrations and merriment was the order of the day, all supporters of the shared prosperity government and indeed the entire Imo state rejoiced over this triumphant verdict, hailing the Supreme Court’s decision as a triumph of democracy and the people’s mandate, Ndi Mbieri were not left out as we celebrate His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma and our daughter, the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Lady Dr. Ihuoma Ekomaru.
The Apex verdict few days ago reaffirms the mandate of the greatest majority of Ndi Imo which was a vote of confidence on Your giant stride four years ago which is the PEOPLES’ wish and will.
