I, Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo, the newly elected Chairman of Mbaitoli Local Government Area, extend my deepest and heartfelt gratitude to Ndi Mbaitoli for your overwhelming support and turnout during the just-concluded LGA Chairmanship and Councillorship election. Your trust in me is humbling, and I assure you, my people, that I will deliver nothing but premium.
A special note of appreciation goes to His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, whose wisdom and visionary leadership have shattered the myths that previously clouded our electoral process. The remarkable record of the first-ever peaceful, free, and fair LGA Chairmanship and Councillorship election in Imo State is a testament to his excellence. Not forgetting the wonderful efforts of our deputy governor and mother Her Excellency Lady Chinyere Ekomaru PhD for your support, engagement and efforts. words cannot describe my gratitude Nne anyị.
Words cannot fully express my profound gratitude to my brother and boss, Hon. Innocent Ikpamezie, the dynamic house member representing Mbaitoli at the Imo State House of Assembly. Your steadfast support, encouragement, and unwavering guidance have been key pillars to this victory.
To my amiable Apex Leader of Mbaitoli LGA Chief Barr. M. Nlemigbo Ochiriozua, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your leadership and contributions throughout this journey.
In a special way, I am overwhelmed with the support received from my brothers Hon. Collins Ugorji, Hon. Chinasa Hamilton Opara, Hon. Austin Okwara, Engr. Fidelis Akuchie, Hon. Emeka Nosiri, Hon. Emmanuel Soronnadi, and others who aspired for the position of the executive chairman of our beloved local government area. In the spirit of sportsmanship, I offer an olive branch to my brothers and sisters who contested this seat. Magnanimity in victory is one virtue I hold tenaciously. Hence, your gallant efforts are duly recognized and accordingly documented.
To the Federal House of Representative Member, Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency Hon. Akarachi Amadi your message was received with gladness and excitement.
I am equally filled with joy and appreciation for the trust and confidence bestowed upon me by the entire APC Mbaitoli LGA structure – the Ward Leaders, Ward Chairmen, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders, Ward Executives, Booth Leaders, and every faithful APC members. Your collective efforts have paved the way for this success, and I promise never to let you down.
My leadership will be a beacon of excellence, purpose-driven, and result-oriented, where every voice will be heard, and every hand will be carried along. Together, we will build a Mbaitoli that thrives on unity, progress, and shared prosperity.
At this juncture, it is imperative to state that our utmost priority is to stick together as one indivisible family with the ultimate aim of Making Mbaitoli better.
In the coming days, I shall take holistic steps to mend fences and also build bridges across all divides. We all have a duty to be a part of history by ensuring that development comes to our local government
Whilst still basking in the euphoria of this victory, I am not oblivious of the enormousity of the task ahead. An all-encompassing program for development will be rolled out in due course.
